2026 June summary

Last month was rather uneventful, and I almost forgot to log.

Progress on book reading is slow but steady. I think I've finished half of the book. I don't like the main character, but I'll keep reading because I want to know where this is going.

I kinda lapsed after reaching my mid-year goal of sleeping and make bad habits again. I blame The Amazing Digital Circus. Not really sure how I feel about it, but the series surely triggered rabbit hole digging for me.

Another series I've finished was Avatar The Last Airbender live action. It was okay-ish. Some scenes are made cooler, like the Kyoshi's appearance, while some others, like the ending, was worse. I think it does give Katara and Sokka more characters maybe? Also, I was looking up about the fan project that was hyped up a few years ago, which was quickly shut down without further explanation. Apparently, there's going to be a new series next year, but all we have right now is just a poster and a synopsis?

Found out about a tool to detect slopware, which helps a lot with checking for the libraries I'll use when starting a new project. Glad that pallets has a no-AI policy now, but not so much that most programming languages embraced the slop.

Technically this is done in July, but I've wrapped up some script to search fedi extract out of boredom and annoyance at the search feature. I'll probably wrap up a web UI as well.
